Taraji P. Henson is having a blast. “The ride has been incredible," she told USA TODAY's Kelley L. Carter. "I'll never forget this.”
The best part of the whole week for her? "My grandmother is here. There are three generations of my family here," Henson said of her grandmother, Patsie Ballard, 84, and mother, Bernice Gordon. Grandma flew in from North Carolina.
And has she thought about her acceptance speech should she win? "Nope. I want it to be more organic. I haven't prepared anything."
