2025–2026 Archives Research Fellowship Opportunity at The Driskell Center!
Join our team for the upcoming academic year 2025–2026 for an archives fellowship designed for all scholars, artists, and cultural workers interested in Black art, art history, and visual culture. Work closely with our archive team and engage our rare archival materials while conducting interdisciplinary research in art history, African American studies, visual culture, and museum studies!
Application deadline: June 30, 2025, 11:59 p.m. Submit your research proposal, CV or resume, proposed residency timeline, and contact information for one reference in a single PDF to archives-driskellcenter@umd.edu.

It was a close one—but we are thrilled to announce that The Driskell Center's newest acquisition is Megan Lewis (@urbanhipsta), "I Feel Less Pressure But I Have My Moments" (2024).
