Designed by MIT, Mobius is a mobile-friendly web-based portal that helps students, faculty and researchers find the technology, tools and equipment they need to make and innovate across MIT's campus.

Students and facility managers can find and share information about makerspaces through Mobius.

Mobius was created to help students, faculty and researchers access makerspaces and machines. It also helps facility managers share information about their equipment and spaces.
The Mobius system was created to help manage and share information about resources that the MIT community may use to make, measure, and manipulate.
Students can pay for materials and machine time directly through their TechCash account or with a credit card. Students paying through their TechCash account can use MakerBucks earned through MakerLodgeTraining as well.
Mobius stores student credentials that are visible to the student and other shop managers enabling students to access tools more quickly in various shops at MIT.
