Seeking applicants for Community Partners Fund Phase 2

The Heinz Endowments has announced $6 million for the second phase of a special fund aimed at assisting local nonprofit organizations facing challenges due to federal funding and policy changes. The fund is open to current and former grantees, as well as others who partner with current or former grantees.

Workforce research partner request for proposals

A key focus area of The Heinz Endowments is our Workforce initiative, which aims to guide young adults in southwest Pennsylvania toward relevant vocational training that leads to careers paying livable wages. In the coming months, we will begin long-term, collaborative workforce research by establishing a regional longitudinal study with an external partner.

The Endowments awards more than $3 million in grants to support Sarah Heinz House

The Heinz Endowments has started the new year by reaffirming its commitment to the Sarah Heinz House. The Endowments’ board of directors has approved two significant grants totaling $3.05 million to fund capital improvements and increase community outreach, ensuring the 120-year-old organization remains a center of support for families on Pittsburgh’s North Side and across the city.
