Hey folks! At Fandom, it’s an important mission for us to help your wikis grow and be safe spaces for all users. A significant part of that is promoting web accessibility across the platform. In case you don’t know what this means (which is totally fine!), this is making sure your wiki content can be consumed by more readers, regardless of disability. I recently held a roundtable with the Fandom Stars to discuss the importance of web accessibility, which happens to be a close topic to my heart too. As part of my work here at Fandom, I have spent the past few months looking deep into our platform policies & guidelines. (Hint: we have a lot!) I have been looking at what we cover, what we don’t cover, & how we can protect users from bad actors & bad experiences.

One point we needed more coverage on was our expectations toward wiki admins. We have (checks list) blogs, guidelines, Discord interactions, etc. - Fandom’s expectations of users who hold admin rights on a wiki (or multiple wikis) are wildly all over the place.
