This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The HTMLDivElement interface provides special properties (beyond the regular HTMLElement interface it also has available to it by inheritance) for manipulating <div> elements.

Inherits properties from its parent, HTMLElement.
HTMLDivElement.alignDeprecated-
A string representing an enumerated property indicating alignment of the element's contents with respect to the surrounding context. The possible values are
"left","right","justify", and"center".
