Using New Editor Continued
-
My other thread said closed to new replies why was my topic marked as closed to new replies. I’m still not done with my topic. So I opened up a new thread
The reader page where all the blogs posts show where you see everybodys blog posts after you publish doesn’t show up in my feed anymore. Did they change it. I’m using the regular wordpres site. Or is there a WordPress app to use to manage your site
I’ve even read articles and watched YouTube videos on how to use the new themes editor but still find it confusing. But are there any links or YouTube videos I can watch to help me with customizing my site
Are there any new themes besides my current theme I’m using now
And last questions. After you publish a post at the bottom it says tags, access etc. I know what tags are lol. But what does access mean. For access it gives public, subscribers and paid subscribers. My access is on public. Does that mean anybody on or off wordpress.com can find my blog. I think my blog in general is set to public for more traffic and engagement. But I also don’t want unwanted interactions with people like spammers scammers etc
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there @koolbeanz247,
I understand that you still have questions regarding the last thread. I can help you with that.
I did a quick search of your latest post in the Reader, and they are showing up when searching for them (see here). Could you tell me if they are not showing up on your site? Are you using the same keywords? If possible, could you share a screenshot of it?
Here is a guide on how to take screenshots: https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot/
Regarding the app, are you referring to a desktop or mobile app? The WordPress.com site should work perfectly on your browser, but you can also give the app a try here: https://apps.wordpress.com/
We’ve recently moved to a new Site Editor with block-based themes, which can feel like a big change. This guide would be helpful to get started: https://wordpress.com/support/site-editor/
Here you can find other themes for your site: https://wordpress.com/themes/
And you’re right — Public means anyone (WordPress users and general visitors) can view your post.
- Subscribers = Only followers can view.
- Paid Subscribers = Restricted to those who pay to access your content.
If you want to avoid spammy or unwanted comments, you can also moderate or restrict comments in your Discussion Settings.
Here are other guides that you might find helpful:
Let me know if that information is helpful or if you need help with something else.
