Nordoff and Robbins is the music industry’s favourite charity and the O2 Silver Clefs is the music industry’s favourite charity event – for very good reasons. This star-studded gathering has celebrated the genius of legendary musicians since 1976, whilst raising millions of pounds for our vital music therapy services. Helping us to support some of the most isolated and vulnerable adults and children across the UK, through the power of music.

Historically a lunchtime gathering, the O2 Silver Clef Awards 2025 will take place on a Wednesday evening for the first time in its 49-year history.

The evening will be hosted by broadcaster Edith Bowman, with the award-winning Carrie and David Grant hosting the signature blue carpet welcome to the event.

We’re thrilled to announce our 2025 winners so far – with David Gilmour, Rick Astley, IDLESSoul II SoulNoah Kahan, Chase & StatusTony Christie and The Corrs all set to take home awards.

At this year’s star-studded awards David Gilmour, the legendary guitarist, vocalist and lyricist behind Pink Floyd will receive the O2 Silver Clef Award, which celebrates outstanding contributions to music.

Rick Astley will be honoured with the Outstanding Achievement in Music Award, sponsored by Tysers Live, in celebration of his lasting contribution to music throughout a career spanning decades. IDLES will be awarded Best Live Act, sponsored by Uber Eats Music Hall – an award celebrating artists whose live shows captivate audiences. Soul II Soul will receive the Innovation in Music Award, sponsored by Oak View Group, in recognition of their pioneering contributions to global music culture. Noah Kahan will win the Best Male award, sponsored by AEG Presents, for his heartfelt songwriting and global success. Chase & Status will receive the award for Best Group, sponsored by Legends and ASM Global, in recognition of their pioneering influence on electronic music. Tony Christie will be honoured with the Icon award, sponsored by American Express, in celebration of his five-decade career in music. The Corrs will take home the Legend award, sponsored by OVO, for their longstanding impact on pop and folk-rock.

Soul II Soul are the winner of the Innovation in Music Award, sponsored by Oak View Group

Multi-platinum global superstar Noah Kahan will receive the award for Best Male in recognition of his heartfelt songwriting, global success, and important work in the mental health space with his charity, The Busyhead Project. The two-time GRAMMY and BRIT-nominated singer-songwriter from Vermont has captivating audiences worldwide with his raw, introspective lyrics that have achieved over seven billion streams to date.

At the 2024 star-studded awards, blur, one of the most iconic of English bands spanning three decades, took home the coveted O2 Silver Clef Award.

Rock icons AC/DC were honoured with the Amazon Music Legend Award, with pop culture megastar Chaka Khan receiving the award for Raymond Weil Global Impact. Rockstar Mark Knopfler won the American Express Music Icon award, with iconic Scottish band Texas honoured with the Tysers Live Outstanding Achievement award. The award for Live Nation Best Female went to pop icon Jessie Ware, with UK hip hop sensation Loyle Carner winning AEG Presents Best Male and global artists The 1975 taking home ASM Global Best Group. Ground-breaking Jacob Collier picked up the Oak View Group Innovation in Music award and impossible-to-classify Scottish group Young Fathers received the PizzaExpress Live Best Live Act award. Genre-busting Ezra Collective won the PPL Contemporary Music Award and London legend Cat Burns took home the award for Ticketmaster Best New Music.

The awards were presented by Edith Bowman for the sixth year running, with Carrie and David Grant hosting the blue carpet.

The O2 Silver Clef Awards 2024 raised crucial funds for our music therapy services. This huge fundraising boost will help our music therapists to support some of the most vulnerable children and adults in the UK. Helping those with autism, dementia, learning difficulties, brain injuries, life-limiting illnesses, mental health challenges, grief and trauma to connect and communicate through music.
